Preheat oven to 375 degrees. <\/p>\n<p>2. In a bowl stir together flour, oatmeal, salt, and baking soda. In another large bowl stir together butter, both sugars, eggs, vanilla and cocoa.<\/p>\n<p>3. Gradually stir flour mixture into butter mixture and mix until combined. Stir chocolate chips and nuts, if using, and stir to distribute evenly. <\/p>\n<p>4. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets and bake about 10 minutes. Cool on a baking rack. <\/p>\n<\/ol>\n<p><b>Warning:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\nBe <i>very<\/i> careful in how these cookies are given to others! If you are not careful, they may cause the recipient to fall in love with you.
